Först får jag detta mail från Tradedoubler:
Travelstart har valt att förflytta dig till ett annat segment i deras program. Det betyder att du har andra tariffer (provision) än original programmet som du tidigare legat i.
Loggar in på mitt konto och ser att de nedgraderat mig till Entry level-segmentet. Där man får 50 SEK per flygbokning. Det är inte mitt fel att de konverterar så kasst. Trist att de måste straffa mig för det.
Det bästa kommer ändå senare samma eftermiddag när deras utländska affiliatemanager mailar mig och föreslår att jag ska flytta deras banner till en mer tydlig plats.
Hade jag varit dum i huvudet hade jag lagt mig på mage och dragit ner byxorna, men det är jag inte.

Bojkotta dom, de borde betala 100% av vinsten och tjäna pengar på efterföljande merförsäljning, konkurrensen är hård! Varför är alla ”affiliateföretag” så snåla?

Jag hörde en rolig historia som jag tyvärr inte kan återge källan till… meeen. Tydligen så har prispressen på alla prisjämförelsesiter gjort att reseföretagen levererar sänkta priser till de stora jämförelse-siterna för att komma överst i resultaten.
Supernice tänker ni, mera bokningar! Enda kruxet? De tar summan de rabatterar resan med från affiliatens ersättning …

Morning All,
I am the new Affiliate Relationship Manager at Travelstart. I am part of a team dedicated to building and enhancing our affiliate offering. I am responsible for Dan’s account with us through TradeDoubler.
We recently had a strategic review of our business and a decision was made to change our commission structure to a performance based one. The better the affiliates perform, the higher the commission they get paid.
I am saddened to hear what some of you have to say about our decision, but I do understand how you feel. All I can say is work with me to increase your sales and we will quickly see you move through the levels and earn a higher commission. We are also open to negotiation on the commission, based on a continous and consistent performance. We have got great incentives and competitions planned and we’re implementing a strategy in which communication, reporting and relationship building is our number 1 priority.
On the topic of the commission levels. You may feel that you have been ”dropped” to the Entry Level from General. That is not the case. The levels have simply been renamed and the commissions reviewed.
